BANAGO
Press Release
June 2019
Spring Summer 2020
For Spring Summer 2020 Patron brings us her whimsical play on "La Bella Filipina" meaning "the beautiful Filipina woman" the colors, red, green, yellow, tan and black play off a Filipiniana culture of that strong striking Filipino woman matriarch in the room, a bit wild and free, yet stern and strict to what she wants, maybe even having a cocktail and smoking a cigarette, charming everyone with her smile and witty conversation. Taking that time and place and putting into today.
The new collection boasts off vibrant colored circular raffia fans, sun visors, day to evening clutches, jewelry and dramatic beach basket bags. All encompassing that summer. The summer she let go. The summer she was "La Bella Filipina".
